SMSgt Greg Lepley

SMSgt (Ret) Greg Lepley

The Mission

On Jan 9, 2017 SMSgt  (Ret) Gregory M, Lepley,  a 21 Year USAF Pararescue veteran passed away in the nursing home he resided in for six years.  He had been listed as homeless and lays in the funeral home to this day.

Greg is divorced, his only son Michael cannot afford the costs in caring and shipping his Dad to Fort Indian Town Gap National Cemetery in Pennsylvania for internment.

We are in need of approximately $2,500.00 to get Greg's funeral expenses paid and remains shipped to the National cemetery for internment with full military honors.  Additional funds not use will be donated to the Pararescue Association and book marked for use for other family crises.

Please donate what you can, if we all do a little we will have done our parts, thank you, and Hoo ya !

Mission Accomplished

Members, sponsors and friends of The Pararescue Association...

We have raised the funds necessary to send SMSgt Greg Lepley home, to his finale resting place in Pennsylvania. We are awaiting further information on his burial from his family.

From SMSgt. Lepley's Family (Carolyn Lepley Hammaker)

I want to thank you all for your help in getting SMSgt Gregory M Lepley 'home to Pennsylvania'.  I and our son Michael thank you sincerely.  We were greatly saddened to hear of his last years of life, and we were not told of his January death, until February 14th.  It is a long story.  Hopefully we will have some closure with his military interment here which is about 30 to 45 minutes away both of our homes.  I was always proud of the 21 years he served as a PJ... and shared those years with him.

Thank you all from my heart for all of your help... maybe I'll see some old friends... Love to all.

From the PJA President

I am so proud of our Brotherhood for the timely support for one of our own in his time of need.  Please make sure you have signed up for the AIG, so that we may reach those in need long before we have to make the finale announcement.
